SmrtGuard was founded in 2008 by entrepreneurs to provide consumer mobile users with tools to backup and restore personal data over the air, track the location of their devices, and to critically execute a remote wipe in the event of theft or loss. SmrtGuard is located near Princeton, New Jersey in the United States.

Product Offerings
SmrtGuard’s patent-pending technologies allow mobile users to backup contacts, SMS, Email and other critical PIM information on mobile devices. In addition, it allows users to locate and track mobile devices from its Web Dashboard. Other innovative features include ability to listen into the surroundings of the mobile device remotely.
SmrtGuard also produces other applications under the brand SmrtApps, which includes numerous utilities and games titles.
